Compared to traditional concrete, form concrete has low diversity and high-level weight capacity. What’s more, it has good performance in heat insulation, which the traditional concrete does not have. It is also a good acoustic insulating material because it is a cellular material. The performance in fire resistance is good as well.

The ingredients of form concrete include binding material, admixture, modifying agent, physical and chemical forming agent and bittern. The diversity of form is between 300 to 1800 kg/m3. Because of the low diversity, it can reduce the weight of building itself.

There are many closed small holes in form concrete so that it has good thermal performance, which is known as good performance in heat insulation. Normally, form concrete that diversity is between 300 to 1200 kg/m3, the heat conductivity coefficient is 0.08 to 0.3 w/(m*  K), which the thermal resistance is 10 to 20 times higher than traditional concrete.

Form concrete also has good performance in acoustic insulating. It is often used as acoustic panel of buildings and freeways. What’s more, it is also used in making the roof of underground structure.

 The form concrete is a kind of inorganic material so that it won’t burn. Because of this advantage, it can increase the fire resistance of buildings.
